Junior Data Scientist - AI & Machine Learning

Responsibilities: Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of large datasets for machine learning model training. Support the development and implementation of machine learning algorithms and statistical models. Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Collaborate with senior data scientists and engineers to test and validate model performance. Help in visualizing data and model results for reporting and presentation purposes. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of data science workflows. Research and stay updated on the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science. Document methodologies, code, and findings clearly and comprehensively. Engage in team discussions, sharing ideas and contributing to problem-solving efforts. Learn and apply best practices in data science, software development, and ethical AI. Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. Solid understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts and algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering). Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn). Basic knowledge of SQL for data retrieval. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. Prior experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
