This role is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence, developing novel algorithms, and creating groundbreaking solutions that leverage the power of machine learning. The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, coupled with a strong publication record and hands-on experience in developing and deploying advanced ML models. You will be instrumental in researching, designing, and implementing state-of-the-art AI systems that address complex real-world challenges.
Key responsibilities include conducting in-depth research into cutting-edge ML techniques, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, natural language processing, and computer vision. You will develop and prototype new AI algorithms, evaluate their performance, and contribute to their integration into production systems. This role involves extensive collaboration with other researchers, engineers, and product teams to translate research findings into tangible products and services. You will be expected to stay abreast of the latest academic research and industry trends in AI and ML, identify new opportunities for innovation, and contribute to intellectual property development. Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch are essential. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required to effectively present research findings and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications: Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a closely related quantitative field. Minimum of 5 years of research and development experience in AI/ML, demonstrated through publications in top-tier conferences/journals or significant industry contributions. Proven expertise in one or more areas of machine learning (e.g., deep learning, NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning). Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML libraries/frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and statistical modeling skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a passion for scientific discovery. Ability to work independently and as part of a research team. This hybrid role allows for a balance of focused research work and collaborative team sessions.
