AI Forward Deployed Engineer

AI Forward Deployed Engineer needed by early-stage startup building a powerhouse platform to transform enterprise AI adoption. Backed by significant funding, long runway, and a strong pipeline of enterprise customers, the team is focused on delivering a category-defining AI workbench.

The product ingests messy, real workflows, automates them end-to-end, and continuously learns to codify human decision-making. This is a deployment-focused role, centered on shipping reliable, production-ready AI systems, not research.

As an AI-Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll build and deploy AI capabilities that integrate directly into enterprise workflows, working closely with customers, product, and engineering to deliver impact quickly.

What You’ll Do

• Build and deploy AI-powered features across frontend, backend, and platform
• Apply LLMs, RAG, embeddings, agents, document processing, and workflow automation
• Prototype rapidly using real customer data and feedback
• Ship user-facing AI with strong guardrails, reliability, and UX
• Optimize systems for performance, latency, safety, and scale
• Contribute to architecture, testing, observability, and production readiness
• Partner with Product and Delivery to refine workflow-driven behavior
• Build reusable platform components, libraries, and prompt frameworks

Requirements

• BS required, Master’s preferred
• Background in a Forward Deployed Engineering capacity
• Experience deploying AI-enabled software in production
• Comfortable in 0-to-1 and early-stage environments
• Strong hands-on experience with LLM-based systems and RAG
• Solid software engineering fundamentals
• Track record of real-world deployments with measurable impact
• Familiarity with enterprise workflows and unstructured data
