The Judge Group is seeking an AI Engineer to design, implement, and optimize machine learning solutions that enhance operational efficiency, safety, and automation. This role involves working with large-scale datasets, building AI models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- AI Development & Implementation
- Assist in designing, developing, and deploying AI models tailored to operational needs (e.g., predictive maintenance, scheduling, safety monitoring)
- Collaborate with senior engineers to apply machine learning techniques for actionable insights
- Data Collection & Analysis
- Collect, preprocess, and clean data from diverse sources (sensors, GPS, logs)
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines for AI applications
- Optimization & Automation
- Partner with data scientists to develop AI-driven solutions for scheduling, route planning, and efficiency
- Support deployment of automation tools for monitoring and managing systems
- Testing & Validation
- Participate in testing and optimization of AI models to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance
- Monitor model performance and assist in troubleshooting
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and analysts to enable AI-driven solutions
- Communicate technical concepts and updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Continuous Learning & Development
- Stay current with advancements in AI, machine learning, and industry technologies
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills
Skills
- Authorization to work in the United States
- 2+ years of experience in AI/ML development, data science, or software engineering
- Proficiency in Python or Java
- Familiarity with data engineering tools and platforms (Hadoop, Spark, EMS, AWS S3, PySpark, RDS, JupyterLab)
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Databricks) and open-source environments
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Keras)
- Understanding of databases and SQL for data management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
- Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, TIBCO)
- Experience with IoT devices, sensors, or edge computing in industrial environments
- Experience with GIS data
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance and anomaly detection techniques
- Internship or academic projects related to AI or machine learning
