Overview
We are seeking a motivated Artificial Intelligence Intern to join our dynamic team. This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge AI and machine learning technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data science, programming, and AI frameworks, with a passion for developing innovative solutions using big data and natural language processing. This role provides exposure to real-world applications of AI, including model training, deployment, and analytics across diverse projects.
Duties
- Assist in designing and implementing machine learning models
- Support data mining and ETL processes
- Contribute to the development of natural language processing applications and explore linked data integration techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to perform model training, evaluation, and deployment on cloud platforms like AWS.
- Aid in database design and management to optimize data storage for AI projects.
- Participate in the development of big data solutions
- Support the integration of machine learning models into production environments through model deployment workflows.
- Conduct research on emerging AI trends such as quantum engineering applications in machine learning and analytics.
- Assist in creating dashboards and visualizations using Looker or similar tools to communicate insights effectively.
Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages
- Experience with machine learning frameworks
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services for model training and deployment.
- Strong understanding of unsupervised learning techniques, natural language processing, data mining, and big data analytics.
- Familiarity with database design principles and SQL for data querying and management.
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes using Talend or similar tools.
- Ability to work with Hadoop ecosystems for large-scale data processing.
- Understanding of linked data concepts and their application in AI projects.
- Knowledge of analytics platforms such as Looker for visualization purposes.
- Experience with machine learning model training, evaluation, and deployment workflows is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills combined with a passion for innovation in artificial intelligence. This internship is designed to provide valuable industry experience while contributing to impactful AI projects within a collaborative environment.
Job Types: Part-time, Internship
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
