Full-Stack AI/ML Engineer job opening

4 day hybrid in Irving, TX

6 month contract - possible extension or conversion

Up to $80/hour for the contract

We are seeking a hands-on Full-Stack AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-driven solutions that solve real business problems end to end—from data ingestion through production deployment. This role sits at the intersection of machine learning, software engineering, and business impact, with a strong focus on LLMs, automation, and scalable AI systems.

What You’ll Do

• Design and deliver AI/ML solutions that automate and optimize business workflows
• Build, fine-tune, and deploy machine learning and LLM-based systems (including RAG and document intelligence)
• Develop predictive and statistical models using Python and modern ML frameworks
• Create production-grade APIs and microservices using FastAPI and MLOps best practices
• Work with structured and unstructured data from APIs, databases, documents, and OCR pipelines
• Monitor, retrain, and optimize models in production environments
• Partner closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Contribute to architecture decisions, experimentation, and internal AI frameworks

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in applied AI, ML engineering, or data science with production deployments
• Strong Python skills (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and solid SQL experience
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and GenAI frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain/LangGraph)
• Experience implementing RAG pipelines and working with vector databases
• Proficiency with FastAPI, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD for model deployment
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP acceptable)
• Comfortable working in Agile teams and communicating with both technical and executive audiences
