Role Overview

Seeking a highly skilled Agentic AI Development Engineer to design, build, and scale intelligent, autonomous agent systems that drive real business outcomes. This role focuses on end to end ownership of agentic workflows, backend services, and distributed systems, with strong collaboration across product, architecture, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end to end design, development, testing, and deployment of agentic AI systems and intelligent components.
• Implement scalable, secure, and resilient backend services, APIs, and workflows supporting agent driven business processes.
• Design and build agent orchestration, task planning, and workflow execution frameworks to improve operational efficiency and automation.
• Perform design and code reviews, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices, security standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Develop and maintain asynchronous, event driven microservices using modern integration and messaging patterns.
• Collaborate closely with product management, architecture, operations, and data teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand ups, reviews, retrospectives) to ensure predictable and timely delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers; contribute to the documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise governance, risk, and compliance expectations, particularly in regulated environments.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience designing and implementing backend systems and distributed architectures at scale.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, with hands on experience using LangChain and Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) or similar agent frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience building agentic AI systems, including autonomous agents, planners, tool calling, and multi step workflows.
• Deep knowledge of NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB; experience with additional NoSQL technologies is a plus.
• Proven expertise in designing and consuming asynchronous APIs and event driven microservices.
• Hands on experience with messaging and streaming platforms such as Kafka, MCP, or equivalent queueing technologies.
• Practical experience with workflow orchestration tools, task scheduling, and stateful processing.
• Strong foundation in microservices architecture, containerization, and cloud native deployment patterns.
• Exposure to or experience within banking, financial services, or other regulated industries.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience implementing human in the loop and governance controls for agentic systems.
• Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and reliability engineering for AI driven services.
• Understanding of responsible AI, security, and data privacy considerations in enterprise environments.
• Experience working with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
