AI Scientist - ASR and Whisper

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an AI Engineer/Scientist specializing in ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition), Whisper, NLP and LLM technologies. The AI Scientist will develop and maintain advanced ASR features and functionalities within our current portfolio of healthcare solutions, including ambient listening, document creation, editing, etc. The role involves software development and implementation of innovative AI solutions to improve healthcare documentation processes. Daily tasks include designing, testing, debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance clinical documentation efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Strong and demonstrated experience in ASR, NLP, LLM technologies
• Strong skills working with speech-to-text technologies is required
• Training LLMs on custom datasets especially in medical field
• AI technical skills in document creation, summarization
• Deploying LLMs in high-performance environments
• Strong skills in API development
• Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies
• Skilled researcher wtith a passion to learn and innovate
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a remote setting
• Experience in the healthcare technologies is a plus
• Research degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field
