Salary Range: $140,000 – $180,000 + variable compensation + 401(k) match + benefits

Role Overview
A leading financial services client is seeking a Vice President, AI Specialist to drive its AI strategy and ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives. The role focuses on innovation, governance, and the responsible use of AI across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor AI technologies, frameworks, and platforms, providing insights to leadership and governance groups.
- Provide technical guidance on the architecture, design, and execution of AI solutions.
- Partner with governance, engineering, and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI use cases.
- Lead the evaluation of vendors, tools, and platforms for AI initiatives.
- Ensure AI solutions meet enterprise architecture standards, risk management practices, and compliance requirements.
- Support project delivery, troubleshooting, and optimization of AI systems.
- Contribute to AI awareness, training, and responsible adoption across the organization.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in technology strategy, innovation, or architecture, with exposure to AI/ML.
- Strong knowledge of the AI ecosystem, ideally within financial services or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks, cloud platforms, and open-source toolsets.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and integrate AI architectures or products.
- Skilled in evaluating third-party solutions for performance, integration, and risk.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, EU/UK AI Act, and ISO standards.
- Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Commitment to responsible AI innovation and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in AI/ML platforms, cloud, or architecture preferred.
- Familiarity with governance and risk standards (ISO 27001, NIST) highly desirable.
