About the Role

They are seeking a Director of AI Engineering to lead the design, deployment, and strategy of enterprise-scale ML and LLM systems. This is a pivotal leadership role that will shape how AI is safely and effectively integrated into production operations across one of the most complex and demanding environments in finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution for Agentic AI adoption across global production environments
• Drive design and deployment of LLM-driven agents, RAG pipelines, and AI-enabled observability/remediation systems
• Partner with senior stakeholders across business and technology to align AI innovation with firm-wide priorities
• Establish governance, safety, and compliance guardrails for large-scale AI deployments
• Lead and mentor engineering teams, setting best practices in experimentation, deployment, and delivery
• Optimize AI performance, scalability, and efficiency at enterprise scale

About You

• 10+ years in AI/ML engineering, with proven experience leading enterprise-scale deployments
• Strong programming skills in Python and modern ML/AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, etc.)
• Expertise in LLMs (prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, tool calling) and their production integration
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), containers, orchestration, and model serving
• Proven leadership ability to guide global engineering teams and influence senior stakeholders
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with experience at Director or equivalent level
