AI Agents Developer - Quant Trading Firm

We’re looking for an AI Systems Engineer to build and deploy intelligent agent technologies at a leading trading firm expanding its global AI engineering capabilities across the entire business.

You’ll design production-ready agentic systems, integrate them into complex enterprise workflows, and help shape a platform that enables scalable, reliable, autonomous decision-making.

What You’ll Work On

• Build Python-based intelligent automation components that handle complex workflows and reduce manual overhead
• Connect ML-powered decision systems into broader enterprise ecosystems, ensuring seamless interoperability
• Assess external AI technologies and services, comparing their capabilities and limitations to guide adoption choices
• Work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to design solutions that meaningfully improve user experience
• Contribute to the evolution of a framework used for assessing, stress-testing, and validating agent-driven workflows
• Diagnose issues across the stack - logic, integration, performance - and refine systems to meet production reliability standards

Who You Are

• 3+ years building production Python applications
• Hands-on experience developing AI agents using established frameworks or commercial services
• Strong knowledge of Python, common ML/AI libraries, and integrations with third-party APIs
• Familiar with enterprise engineering tools (e.g., Git, documentation platforms, messaging tools)
• Strong problem-solver who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
